If you are looking for a great full function starter plane that is large and yet tough, check out the Hawk Sky V2. The HawkSky is constructed from durable but light weight EPO foam. This is much tougher than "beer cooler foam". It only takes about 15 minutes to make air-ready. The power comes from a KV1900 brushless motor which will get you in the air with little effort. The SRTF (Stabilized Ready to Fly) version is equipped with the Istone gyro system that provides both flight stabilizing mode, and Aerobatics mode, similar to a SAFE system.
